Motivate myself to purchase a better life

Q　What was your motivation for joining the program, and what about the program appeals to you?

My motivation for joining Humanware was to learn about a variety of different disciplines and to broaden my scientific horizons. Here, I can learn from researchers and interact with other students. I strongly hope that we can develop interdisciplinary fusion research with biological or robotic experiments, which is beyond my capacity but in line with my expectations.

Q　What is your expertise and how do you want to develop it with the program?

My expertise is about informatics. Specifically, I’m familiar about software development, simulation, data analysis, visualization, and learning. I am also working hard on learning mathematics to enrich my research. In addition, I have good language skills for academic purposes.

My main research is about swarm modeling and control that is inspired from biology. The overall behavior of a swarm becomes very complexed when the number increases subsequently, and this research has a wide range of applications. I hope to cooperate with others to discuss together and do the validation by experiments as I want to do multiple research themes.

Q　What are your future dreams and goals?

I want to live in a fulfilling desired research life in the future. I want to keep doing interesting research, and my goal is to make my research more useful and applicable. I wish I can establish some foundations and achievements in the research field and build collaborative relationships with researchers inside and outside of our research team. All in all, I hope I can enjoy a motivated research life and be able to accompany my family altogether.
