Live up to my name
Q What was your motivation for joining the program, and what about the program appeals to you?
I was motivated by the program’s appeal, which is to interact with researchers from other fields and business people, to learn perspectives different from my field of expertise and social needs. I want to apply the experience in HWIP to the social implementation of my research.
Q What is your expertise and how do you want to develop it with the program?
In my undergraduate studies, I focused on mechanics and did research using physical simulation and reinforcement learning. Currently, I am interested in the “mind” and is working on research on “prediction of music that fits individual preferences based on brain activity” using neuroscience, statistics, and machine learning. Through HWIP, I intend to become an interdisciplinary researcher who can use these knowledge in a meaningful way.
Q What are your future dreams and goals?
‘Connecting Thousands’ is the literal translation of my first name. I just want to be like that.
