Exploring the world of unknown with interdisciplinary research

Q　What was your motivation for joining the program, and what about the program appeals to you?

I am interested in Information Science and Technology and eager to learn about new technology in the “Cyber” world. Information technology itself hardly influences “Real” world unless it is connected to other technologies which can manipulate the real world. Humanware program encourages us to work with people who have different research knowledge and experience  (i.e. Robotics, Life Science). I would like to share my knowledge with the other students and create new technologies that can change the “Real” world.

Q　What is your expertise and who do you want to develop it with the program?

My research specialty is to analyze and recognize sensor data using machine learning. For deeper understanding, we need to know more about the “Real” world. During this program, I will cooperate with people who have different educational backgrounds, and share the knowledge with them.

Q　What are your future dreams and goals?

I would like to understand practical demands from the world, and create technologies that can make people’s life better.
