Aiming for further growth

Q What was your motivation for joining the program, and what about the program appeals to you?

I applied for HWIP because I look forward to improving myself through Interdisciplinary Studies and Overseas Internship. In addition, another attraction of this program is that I can work hard together with other students in various fields of expertise.

Q What is your expertise and who do you want to develop it with the program?

My research theme is human behavior modeling during interaction and motion generation of humanoid robot by the human behavior model. Currently, I try to model the human behavior by machine learning through human motion data. However, knowledge of life science, cognitive science and sensor network is also very important when I model human behavior in social society and construct real-time motion generation system. I want to develop my research by integrating knowledge of various specialized fields.

Q What are your future dreams and goals?

To be a researcher with a broad perspective that can cross multiple research fields.
