Break out of my shell and Dedicate to outstanding research!

Q What was your motivation for joining the program, and what about the program appeals to you?

Studies should always be one step ahead. However, from only one’s own field of specialization, we are easy to be blocked in our own cage of mind and not be able to do meaningful research. The humanware program is the best environment for students from various fields to set up a completely new research proposal in a fantastic and pleasant way. In order to study in such an environment and become a creative researcher,  I joined this program.

Q What is your expertise and who do you want to develop it with the program?

My research focuses on robot manipulation. Currently I am working on manipulation especially for picking objects. By acquiring expertise from informatics and biology through the humanware program, I would like to carry out interdisciplinary studies on how to make beautiful movements of living organisms, and how to make robots do specific work.

Q What are your future dreams and goals?

In the future, I would like to contribute to society as a developer, who thinks out of the box.
