Melt the boundaries of robots and the boundaries of nations
Q What was your motivation for joining the program, and what about the program appeals to you?
Nowadays, the knowledge from only one research field is not enough for innovation. I found that when developing robotic mechanisms, interdisciplinary research is necessary, and this program can exactly provide me opportunities to push my research forward. What’s more, HWIP can also enrich my oversea experience and give me positive energy during my way on PHD.
Q What is your expertise and who do you want to develop it with the program?
My major is system engineering, and now I focus my research on building robots which move like human. In these years, the software applications of AI are popular but the hardware applications of AI are always ignored. In this program, I want to develop smart robotic mechanisms which own artificial intelligence, and improve myself through communicating with other people from the world.
Q What are your future dreams and goals?
I want to change the lifestyle of next generation all over the world, and make them friendly beyond nations. I believe I and my research can make this.
