Q プログラムに応募した動機やプログラムの魅力は?

Q 自身の専門または得意分野は何で、プログラムでそれをどのように発展したい?

Q 将来の夢・目標は?

Dreaming about future technology

Q What was your motivation for joining the program, and what about the program appeals to you?

Originally I had a strong interest in neuroscience. Neuroscience is a field of study that conducts research on the nervous system from various fields, and is a research theme in a fusion field that spans various academic fields. When conducting this research, I thought that it would be useful for the research if I could obtain knowledge from various fields. I can learn not only the brain science area but also the information science and life science areas in the basic area of humanware, and you can learn the viewpoint of industry in the industry-academia collaboration course. We hope to be able to study more sophisticated neuroscience in our Humanware Innovation PhD program.

Q What is your expertise and how do you want to develop it with the program?

My specialty is neuroengineering. This is a discipline that uses engineering approaches in neuroscience to perform research and uses information on brain activity to move machines. I’m from Systems Engineering and have some knowledge of robotics, but no biology or psychology. Research in neuroengineering requires knowledge in various fields, so I would like to acquire knowledge in other fields with this program.

Q What are your future dreams and goals?

I am aiming to be a researcher and developer of neuroengineering, and I especially hope to be able to be involved in Brain-Machine-Interface and neurofeedback. In particular, I would like to create games that use brain waves in the entertainment field and new educational programs that use neurofeedback.[:]
