Interview

Sorry, this entry is only available in 日本語.

I feel as if I’m studying together with my future partners in research.

Q: What were your motivations for joining the program?

I was really interested in research that integrated biology, cognitive science, and information science. I was also interested to hear how participants could work together with various research institutes, and so I joined the program.

Q: What are your future dreams and goals?

While nothing is specific yet, I am carrying out research with a view to large-scale issues that have broad implications for various fields. I am hoping my work will lead me into further research in related fields.

Q: What are your impressions and thoughts about the program?

I think it’s great that participants are in close communication with professors in various laboratories. It is really stimulating to be able to hold discussions about fields that are not normally covered. There are also many opportunities to speak with students from other universities, as well as with international students. When I talk about my work with my peers, I have a sense that we will be carrying out integrated research together in the future.

As for my hopes for the program, I really want to push forward with more research. I am looking forward to see how specific activities develop.
