Interview
Sorry, this entry is only available in 日本語.
I want to expand interdisciplinary research on organisms and information networks.
Q: What was your motivation for joining the program?
The professor in my lab introduced me to the program and encouraged me to consider applying. Initially I didn’t know whether or not to take my professor’s advice, but I had long been interested in interdisciplinary research, and I also realized what a difference the program’s financial support would make to me, so I decided to apply.
Q: What are your future dreams and goals?
I hope to have a career as a researcher. I expect that the knowledge and experiences I acquire in this program will enable me to expand interdisciplinary research on organisms and information networks.
Q: What about the program appeals to you?
I value the opportunity to expand my horizons through access to knowledge from outside my own area of specialization. Also, I find my own motivation is enhanced through contact with the other highly-motivated people in the program. These kinds of experiences have an extremely positive impact on me personally.
